Wilmslow Albion return to Oakwood Farm this Saturday as we welcome Abbey Hey Reserves for our latest Manchester Football League Division Two fixture.

With three points up for grabs, Albion will be looking to make home advantage count and put in a strong performance in front of our supporters.

THE OPPOSITION

Saturday’s visitors are a new reserve side from Abbey Hey FC, who have introduced a reserves team for the 2026/27 season to compete in the Manchester League. The first team currently compete in the North West Counties Premier Division, while the club also has a strong junior and academy setup.

That means Albion can expect a side with plenty of ambition and players looking to make their mark. Reserve teams can often bring an element of unpredictability, with competition for places and players pushing to progress through the club.
